WASHINGTON, DC - Timothy F. Johnson, Chairman and Founder of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, is pleased to appoint Zach Martin, Vice President of the first student chapter of the Frederick Douglass Foundation at Liberty University.

Dr. Johnson had this to say of the politically active new leader:
"I have known Zach Martin since April of 2010 and throughout my interactions with Mr. Martin I have not ceased to be impressed with his commitment to the Christian Republican cause. I constantly hear excellent reports of his many and endless activities in the Republican Party of Virginia, not to mention his work as the Chairman of the College Republicans at Liberty University. Because of his incredible ability to lead and interact with individuals on all levels and backgrounds it was my pleasure to appoint Zach Martin as the Vice President of the first student chapter of the Frederick Douglass Foundation at Liberty University. I am fully aware of his potential and am certain that Zach will not cease to surprise us all. I fully endorse Zach Martin for the position of Chairman of the College Republican Federation of Virginia."

Chairman Johnson continues his statement by saying; "let us all applaud the efforts of youth when they are as motivated and empowered as Zach Martin. His aspiration to build this organization coupled with his abilities to lead is the champion spirit the Frederick Douglass Foundation requires at the grassroots level to expand. We are pleased to have him join our leadership and look forward to working with this great young man."

Dr. Timothy F. Johnson is the Founder and Chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, Vice Chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party and President of Leadership 101, LLC
